In the fifth Evil Dead film, a road-weary Beth pays an overdue visit to her older sister Ellie, who is raising three kids on her own in a cramped L.A apartment. Bringing the deadite carnage into the big city this time around “Rise” is a scary, gory, but also fun entry into the franchise. “Rise” brings back some dark, twisted humor that was lacking in the equally effect 2013 “Evil Dead.”
