Katie Smith-Wong Flick Feast Unfortunately, this is all too familiar, bordering on cliché. With that in mind, the film doesn't do enough to provide a different perspective on an already established style of narrative. Rated: 3/5 Nov 20, 2019 Full Review Lisa Giles-Keddie HeyUGuys Immensely enjoyable tone and production style. Rated: 4/5 Nov 19, 2014 Full Review Read all reviews

Amy K Watched this with my 13 year old daughter who really appreciated the humor and experiences of a kid around her age facing both familiar as well as "foreign" (pun intended) awkward, tragic, and "coming of age" school and family situations. I think anyone who enjoys foreign films would find this enjoyable for its (not too deep but still thoughtful) exploration of religion, authority, and childhood. It's an easy to watch film with just enough quirkiness to keep it moving along. Visually appealing as well.
