Bobby LePire Film Threat Couple that with the constant guessing as to what is really happening, the great cast, and the final few moments of the film, which are perfect, and this winds up being a road trip worth taking. Rated: 8/10 Mar 11, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Liz A The movie was awful and i feel like 1.5 hours of my life this evening have been stolen from me. Can't say the characters weren't true to life because... well, new york. Storyline was weak and asked too much of the viewer to try and redeem it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/22/24 Full Review Helen N There's no emotional connection between the characters, or between them and the audience. They are pretty well developed; there's just no reason to care. The background characters are largely likeable and interesting; regrettably, they are only setting pieces. The resolution is trite, predictable, and once again, there's no reason to care. A predictable ending can work if the film is compelling enough. You see it coming, squirm, and pray... but this is not that movie. This is the movie in which you get to the end, sigh, and think, "Well, that was a movie. That I have now seen," and go and do something else. No fault to the cast. They were very good, all. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/07/23 Full Review Bill M This movie was terrible from start to finish! The only reason I didn't stop it was due to the 96% rating. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/20/22 Full Review kevin c A couple take a turn off on exit 0 to a small inn fir a weekend getaway to work on their relationship. Once there strange things start occurring leading the man to find a videotape depicting a murder in the room they are staying in. Is he going insane or is there something to his paranoia. Augie Duke and Gabe Fazio star as the couple, and their acting is basically what pushes this film along and keeps you interested in what happens next. Intriguing little mystery/thriller. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member If you have the patience to watch a movie that sends to go the speed of everyday life, this is well worth your while. I think classifying it as horror was a mistake; this seems to me more like mystery/ suspense. Billy Curtis and his girlfriend Lisa take a trip from New York to spend a romantic weekend at the Doctor's Inn, a historic inn that Billy remembers from his childhood. Billy, who lost both his parents, is in mid-thirties and it is apparent that he is nervous and psychologically fragile, while Lisa seems married to her phone. As mysterious things seem to happen that only Billy witnesses, his relationship with Lisa seems strained. After visiting a lighthouse the tour guide informs the couple that according to local lore the inn is haunted. Meanwhile Billy becomes more uneasy and fearful. Eventually the events of that weekend build until it becomes too much and the couple leaves. It is after they leave that there is an explanation about what happened at the Doctor's Inn and by then, Billy and Lisa's relationship becomes clearly defined. This is not a movie for those seeking action, thrill or gore. It is an interesting story with a believable couple surrounded by quirky characters. The acting is exceptional and although the ending is more of a whisper than an explosion, for this particular film it works. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Scary. I don't know if it's the hand held camera, the music, the creepy Inn keeper or the town or just plain Billy (reminded me of Jack in "The Shining") that scared me. Is it all imagined or real? I couldn't tell - but I won't be staying in any quaint Inns for awhile. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
