Audience Member THATS WATH THE PEOPLER LIKE NAW Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A Paul Naschy movie where he has almost nothing to do. He's usually best when playing the monster. Here, he just seems bored and wasting time. It starts off promising, with LSD dropping satanic hippies. Then it quickly devolves to the possessed woman going around calling people "B****" and "Sons of b******." The middle drags on and on until we get a random satanic orgy in the middle of the movie. Then the movie slowly grabs your attention back for a bit before going back endless talk. And talk in these movies is pretty annoying. They run through dialogue so fast, trying to explain every single detail. This only becomes more bothersome if you watch these movies with subtitles since you'll be spending most of the time reading dialogue because they talk so fast. The ending gets a bit more interesting when the exorcism actually happens, and there is some nice makeup on the girl at the end, but it was too little too late. This is just a Spanish Exorcist ripoff that might seem interesting because of the satanic hippies and orgies, but it really isn't all the interesting and gets really boring really fast. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member A girl's odd behaviour makes her family concerned. Is it drugs? Her boyfriend's bad influence? Turns out she is possessed by the spirit of her insane father. Ending is a shameless ripoff of The Exorcist complete with a floating bed and drool. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Woman becomes a victim of demonic possession when she mixes with the wrong party crowd, requiring an exorcism. Another derivative slice of Eurosleaze. Excellent makeup and a fine achievement for Spanish cinema if originality is not a requirement. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member It was nice to see Naschy play the good guy this time. His father Adrian Dunning character makes a fine exorcist, and the story itself is a cut above other similar films: along with the possession plot, there's also a murder mystery going on at the estate where the possessed girl and her family live. With a satanic beach orgy, horrendous over-dubbing, peeping-Tom butlers, a detective with the acting ability of a handball, and, of course, some drooling, cracked-lip, foul-mouthed, bed-levitating exorcism scenes, this Spanish entry into the early 70s possession-craze is a decent little flick despite a bit too much yakking early on. The Special Edition DVD released by Victory Films features a GREAT 30 minute interview with Paul Naschy, some alterante scenes, and loads of rare stills and posters, and a very nice mini-introduction by Naschy.
