Steve D Big dumb fun, but it is fun. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member I just read about Naomi Wolf and vaccine conspiracies where she "they have tech with nanoparticles to make you travel back in time!". It's just like the Wolves to take out their own industry; television, radio, film, books--these are all time machines. How can you work for a time machine and be fearful of it? I guess this describes the human condition. In any event, this is a great time machine that has the 80s look at the 50s, and now we get to travel there from the 2020s. John Travolta is at his vampiric best in this one, and he also has a long awkward dance with his wife (RIP). This was one that I loved as a kid, and it still holds up in the time machine of Now, thanks to the comedic direction of Dave Thomas (known for "Strange Brew"). I don't think it ever really resolved why Russia built a time capsule of 50s America to train spies in 80s Russia, but, it's a cute film with a very happy ending. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Worst film of all time, peerless ..... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a good concept just done poorly. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member KGB kidnaps two struggling young New Yorkers to unknowingly act as American experts in a mock American town in the Soviet Union designed to train spies. Not bad. Of interest in that former SCTV star Dave Thomas directed and Travolta and Preston star. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review william s Everything that's bad about 80's film making is here in a nutshell......had to just be a paycheck for Travolta.
