A very worthy sequel with scream induced scares and fine acting. The Pang Brothers had more of a budget for this one and went all out to make one of the greatest and scariest horror sequels in movie history. 4 out of 5 stars.

Good Asian horror movie, with some creepy scenes and a new take on the ghost genre. Also Qi Shu was very good and really elevated the movie. However, it still fell under some cliches and some instances of not being too scary but weird. But that's what differentiates this type of horror movies from around the world. Overall, I think this was better than the first The Eye, although the story does not relate with each other, it was an improvement and more scarier. ~November 23, 2014~

Mediocre horror movie from the Pang brothers which has absolutely no connection to the original. The story is nothing new and not all that interesting either. Many attempts at jump and shock scares, all of which failed on me. Qi Shu was pretty good at playing frightened in light of very little scary going on. Makes me ponder whether to watch the third movie in the series.
