jjjjjj j As a horror film this movie does not deliver. If you instead look at is a crime/mystery with a supernatural element it is engaging enough. The film plays with many of the same themes seen in many of the Korean films of the time, the question of what is reality versus fiction, a main character trying to discover the truth, and in the end uncovering something bigger than was originally expected. The biggest problem with this film comes in the form of the creepy looking ghost. It easily could have been left out, it is just used for jump scares in the beginning and then becomes completely forgotten about. If you are researching the history of Korean mystery films or are really into foreign noir's this may be a good movie for you otherwise I would recommend skipping this movie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member The clash between old-world parents and their American-born children is familiar territory. This film never really finds a fresh groove. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I love this movie!! great story plot, only i wish she could have gotten the chance to know her father. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Good story showing how generations change and how hard it is for some Asian cultures to adapt to their children growing up 'western'. The film is quite simple on the surface, but underneath quite thought provoking. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Good movie although I found the story had a few gaps.
