Barbara Shulgasser Common Sense Media This thriller starts with a bang and, like the escaped convict, keeps spinning ahead with engaging momentum until a boggy last sequence. Feb 20, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Sonny M Some may find holes in the story and I hope they made it as a TV series. I really enjoyed the movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/03/25 Full Review Humah O I came into this movie blind on Netflix. It was plotwise a typical thriller prisoner break movie at first, with a few plot holes on the invesgation procedure up until the end of the movie. However, as the movie progressed, I came to the realisation this is more than just about a young citizen trying to prove his innocence. It’s critic on a corrupted government and law system, which were (are still) unable to protect and serve the rights of its citizen. It’s devastating to see a young merely 18 years old boy having to hurt himself to find a chance to stand up for himself, and the only people helping him are also ordinary innocent people, not the police or governmental authorities. It depicts the laziness and ignorance and corruption of authorities, whose reputation goes before those they swore to protect. I have read reviews that the movie adaption is a bit rushed compare to the TV show or the original book. I personally still enjoy it and find the movie did a great job delivering its messages. As a young person myself, I also feel more related to him and was very emotional during the movie. Would definitely recommend it! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/25 Full Review Femida K It was trite generic and predictable. The woman should have been charged with aiding and abetting a known criminal.
