Audience Member Had seen this movie 20 years back and had absolutely liked it. Remember seeing it in Citylight at Matunga and the movie disappeared from the theaters in just a week. Had been trying to see it for a while recently now and finally got hold of it. Unfortunately the movie is pretty dated and doesn't work as well anymore apart from a few individual scenes. But its still not a bad watch compared to the average mush Hindi movie. Has an avant garde star cast of Jackie in one of his few very good roles, Akash Khurana, Supriya Pathak, Anupam Kher, Paresh Rawal (of his initial days), Mohan Bhandari, Shekar Kapur etc. Watch if you can set yourself back by 20 years. It was a very good movie to watch for those years when we were treated to absolute rubbish. One of Nair's early better works. The 4.5 *s is for the nostalgia factor.
