Matt Fagerholm RogerEbert.com Yet another would-be YA franchise inspired by recycled formulas rather than life experience. Rated: 1.5/4 Sep 8, 2017 Full Review Teo Bugbee New York Times Burdened with ideas of reincarnation and Christian mythos, the supposedly swooning love triangle among Luce and her beatific beaus lacks any of the organic interaction that could produce chemistry. Sep 7, 2017 Full Review Rachel Chan The New Paper (Singapore) Filled with heavy breathing and intense staring that seem to go on for ages, Fallen could have been a really good movie but the bad script and forced acting did not leave any room for character development. Rated: 2/5 Sep 20, 2017 Full Review Chloe Walker Film Inquiry Fallen is It's nothing but a weaker version of everything that has come before it, the mythos is convoluted and ultimately uninteresting, the CGI is ropey at best. Sep 10, 2017 Full Review James Berardinelli ReelViews Whatever small pleasures it may offer are wiped out by the frustrating sense of incompleteness that accompanies the arrival of the end credits. Rated: 2/4 Sep 9, 2017 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue ... bogs down in melodramatic brooding and supernatural nonsense without establishing much reason for emotional investment. But hey, at least everyone is pretty. Sep 8, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Cathy B I enjoyed this movie. If only there was a sequel to this for a more satisfying ending. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/25/25 Full Review Spence M The movie asks for you to believe that a lot of clearly older actors are supposed to be teenagers while filling the runtime with long dramatic staring between characters. It feels like it desperately wants to be Twilight or some other YA fantasy fiction but can't seem to get a handle on the plot or characters. There's really not acting going on here, just awkward moments caught on camera. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/16/25 Full Review Shani K She's not baptized. Also, she's not baptized. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/08/25 Full Review Stormy W The abrupt ending left so many unresolved plot holes. And there were a lot! t's like they just gave up and decided for a quick end because they were too lazy to develop a full story or ran out of a budget. I gave it 2 stars because I thought there was decent chemistry between the characters but even those relationships were underdeveloped. I will check out the new TV series and see if that is any better or even check out the book because surely that has to be better right? Lol Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/25 Full Review Miss L Want to hunt down the creator’s of this Temu version of Twilight with Angels, and kidney kick them till I get my two hours back. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/23/25 Full Review Thea A This felt more like watching a boring 90 minute pilot episode of a bad CW show from the early 2000s than an actual movie. There was literally no ending to the movie. Definitely one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/17/25 Full Review Read all reviews
