Matt Fagerholm RogerEbert.com Yet another would-be YA franchise inspired by recycled formulas rather than life experience. Rated: 1.5/4 Sep 8, 2017 Full Review Teo Bugbee New York Times Burdened with ideas of reincarnation and Christian mythos, the supposedly swooning love triangle among Luce and her beatific beaus lacks any of the organic interaction that could produce chemistry. Sep 7, 2017 Full Review Rachel Chan The New Paper (Singapore) Filled with heavy breathing and intense staring that seem to go on for ages, Fallen could have been a really good movie but the bad script and forced acting did not leave any room for character development. Rated: 2/5 Sep 20, 2017 Full Review Chloe Walker Film Inquiry Fallen is It's nothing but a weaker version of everything that has come before it, the mythos is convoluted and ultimately uninteresting, the CGI is ropey at best. Sep 10, 2017 Full Review James Berardinelli ReelViews Whatever small pleasures it may offer are wiped out by the frustrating sense of incompleteness that accompanies the arrival of the end credits. Rated: 2/4 Sep 9, 2017 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue ... bogs down in melodramatic brooding and supernatural nonsense without establishing much reason for emotional investment. But hey, at least everyone is pretty. Sep 8, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Jenna212 M This is such an underrated movie and has so much potential I understand it’s some cringy scenes however that’s the point of the romance and drama. The passion and play of Romeo and Juliet with the heaven and hell tearing them apart but them fighting to stay together 💕 Ever since this movie dropped in 2016 I’ve been wanting and obsessed with the sequel just like all the books it’s now 2025… and this movie has almost been forgotten and it’s SO GOOOD! The amount of of times I’ve rewatched it and introduced it to my friends and family is insane. I pray still everyday that the writers ✍️ of the books will make a sequel to the 2016 romance drama “FALLEN” and keep the main actors as they played the roles beautifully..and since the male lead never ages or changes not even his face it would be kinda obvious if the cast was drastically changed. Please make the rest of the movies 🎥 🙏🙏🙏🙏💕💕until then I will continue to keep rewatching this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/25 Full Review Audience Member I would never recommend this movie to anyone. Not even my worst enemy would be recommended this movie. If you have read the book, every single important detail is left out of the movie. Not even the introduction to characters. There's nothing good about this movie and every second of it was just new commentary to make about how they completely missed important details. None one of the appearances are even remotely similar to the ones in the book, and honestly, it ruins the movie even more. I probably would’ve been less annoyed watching the movie if the characters were at the very least similar looking to the descriptions. But not even the main character was similar looking. Sad to see an amazing book got turned into a horrible movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/11/25 Full Review Jelisije J It took 1 hour and 15 minutes for the movie to finish the story of the main character finding about the ultimate obvious secret that we found out about 15 minutes in the film......its a complete waste of a film. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/29/24 Full Review Gail M Still waiting for the sequel... loved the pace of this movie. Got to love a good high school Gothic romance... even though everyone looks 20 something... Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/31/24 Full Review audrey f ACHEI BEM FIEL AOS LIVROS, POREM DEIXARAM O FILME MUITO MORNO EM RELAÇÃO A HISTÓRIA. ENTRETANTO O FILME FOI PARA OS FÃ DOS LIVROS!
