Matt Fagerholm RogerEbert.com Yet another would-be YA franchise inspired by recycled formulas rather than life experience. Rated: 1.5/4 Sep 8, 2017 Full Review Teo Bugbee New York Times Burdened with ideas of reincarnation and Christian mythos, the supposedly swooning love triangle among Luce and her beatific beaus lacks any of the organic interaction that could produce chemistry. Sep 7, 2017 Full Review Rachel Chan The New Paper (Singapore) Filled with heavy breathing and intense staring that seem to go on for ages, Fallen could have been a really good movie but the bad script and forced acting did not leave any room for character development. Rated: 2/5 Sep 20, 2017 Full Review Chloe Walker Film Inquiry Fallen is It's nothing but a weaker version of everything that has come before it, the mythos is convoluted and ultimately uninteresting, the CGI is ropey at best. Sep 10, 2017 Full Review James Berardinelli ReelViews Whatever small pleasures it may offer are wiped out by the frustrating sense of incompleteness that accompanies the arrival of the end credits. Rated: 2/4 Sep 9, 2017 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue ... bogs down in melodramatic brooding and supernatural nonsense without establishing much reason for emotional investment. But hey, at least everyone is pretty. Sep 8, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Thea A This felt more like watching a boring 90 minute pilot episode of a bad CW show from the early 2000s than an actual movie. There was literally no ending to the movie. Definitely one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/17/25 Full Review Naomi M The movie is so confusing, it has no steady plot. Honestly it's just a very bad wattpad Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/25 Full Review Hajni T. C Twilight with angels and demons. Surprisingly bad, though I think it would make a decent 8- or 10-episode miniseries. It feels like there's a story here that was mutilated beyond recognition. I feel sorry for the actors because they're actually good, but caught in a career-killer movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/25 Full Review Aubrey W Waste of time!!! Bad movie all around. It ends on cliffs hangers and there is no sequel which is understandable because the movie is so bad. I would like my time back. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/25 Full Review Erica B 5 stars is for the book. Not the movie . This movie had so much potential. It’s unfortunate that they took a 6 series book set and wrapped up a small piece into an hour 1/2 movie. This should have at minimum been a small series or something. Read the book. Worth it there. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/25 Full Review Jen E I've literally never left a review on here but I am so genuinely confused and annoyed that my time got wasted. I'm someone that loved the Twilight franchise hell I even liked the Beautiful Creatures movie that people really disliked. I like movies that are the YA fiction genre for the most part so I'm not really that hard to please when it comes to that plot. The beginning of the movie had really good potential I felt like the setup was really good and then it just got so confusing from there I'm genuinely at a loss. The pace of the film was so fast the setup for the characters backstories, it was only in very brief flashbacks honestly I went into this movie thinking I was watching a television series and there would be more episodes because what the hell was that ending??? The movie really only briefly introduces us to these characters With just vague references to their background And then leaves us With that weird ending. I understand the story but it was like when your parents want you to go to sleep and they're reading you a book and they just skip over A ton of parts thinking you won't notice.
