Dave C The predictability of this instalment takes some of the shine away from it. It's more of the same scripting, performances, and comedy, just with pregnancies instead of a wedding. Enjoyable enough, but I definitely prefer the first Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/01/24 Full Review Carlos T Minha opinião: Um elenco de peso na aréa da comedia. Pois temos ainda Eugene (American Pie) e Wong (Jurassic park). Roteiro e enredo tudo morno. Vale apena assistir? Se não tiver outra alternativa Nota: 4 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/31/23 Full Review StephenPaul C LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 46 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!! Returning in this sequel is Steve Martin, the Father of the Bride (and now, the Grandfather of the Granddaughter)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/23/23 Full Review Cfunk D I thought it was funnier than the first. Very enjoyable. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/28/23 Full Review christopher c. m This is as good as the last one, with the same slow point in the middle. But overall, it's as good as the last one. If you love the first one, you'll love this one too. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Jellytoy P Just as Wonderful as the first movie. Nell Minow Movie Mom Cheesy pap, but a few glossy moments. Rated: 3/5 Jul 20, 2003 Full Review Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times Father of the Bride Part II is not a great movie and not even as good as its 1991 inspiration (not to mention the Spencer Tracy-Elizabeth Taylor original from 1950). But it is warm and fuzzy, and has some good laughs and a lot of sweetness. Rated: 2.5/4 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Mike Clark USA Today Martin, Keaton and cinematographer William A. Fraker put this retro fluff over better than expected early on, but hour 2 is only for those who don't want their equilibriums rattled by surprises. Rated: 2/4 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Mike Davies Birmingham Post Anyone looking forward to a second dose of the first film's frothy bittersweet fun can forget it. This is frighteningly bad. Dec 20, 2023 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...benefits rather substantially from the winning work of its various players...
