Abbie Bernstein Assignment X There are a few dangling plot threads that seem as though they could have been woven together to make a stronger storyline, but overall, Fear Clinic delivers scares that are both plentiful and satisfying. Dec 20, 2018 Full Review Trace Thurman Bloody Disgusting It isn't an amazing film, but it has enough interesting ideas going on with some pretty great practical effects that make it a slightly above average film. Rated: 3/5 Oct 31, 2018 Full Review Matt Donato We Got This Covered Fear Clinic is an ambitious project stitched together by unsteady hands, as the threads holding everything together threaten to unravel come the film's end. Audience Member Could've been a good movie because of a good story and a good casting with Robert Englund (Nightmare on Elm Street) and Corey Taylor (lead signer of Slipknot and Stone Sour) but clearly lack finesse. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Fear clinic has an interesting story and the cast seems committed but ultimately it’s a pretty dull low-budget horror film. Parts of the movie look pretty cheap and there’s also the lack of scares. The movie gets a little ridiculous and silly and a lot of it is poorly edited. I guess if you like these low budget horror films you’ll know what to expect. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/03/19 Full Review Audience Member Cool concept and ideas throughout, but ultimately not very effective. Disappointing turn from Robert Hall. Can we just get Laid To Rest 3 already?! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Been wanting to see this for some time. Some interesting conceptual ideas based around previously unexplored aspects of psychology which could have been explored more thoroughly if it was a mini\-series rather than a stand alone feature. On the plus side there were some good, committed performances from both the legendary Robert Englund and from Fiona Dourif (i.e. Brad's little girl). My one complaint was that director Robert Hall didn't do nearly enough with Corey Taylor. Thanks to Slipknot, the dude was a Horror icon long before he started acting but really wasn't given enough material to work with. It was pretty cool seeing him rock out to his own music on the car radio in a rare though enjoyable self-reflexive moment, but he was never truly given the chance to fully explore his range of emotions. Instead, he was given some bland comic relief-come-jerk character who really didn't do all that much (sort of like Leigh Whannell in 'The Conjuring' films). Meh! I shouldn't complain. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson barely had any screen time in Mummy Returns and now he's a leading man, so I don't know...some day I guess. :-/ Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Well, the movie had the potencial to be something. Sadly it didn't achieved. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member This was such a disappointment. I really wanted to like this for Robert Englund, but the story was just a whole lot of nonsense that forgot to be entertaining. Good make-up & CGI, but still couldn't really care about it.
