Audience Member KANSAS CITY URBAN FILM FESTIVAL SELECTION: "Fear of a Black Republican" 4 out of 5 Popcorn Bags "In the style of Michael Moore, documentarian Kevin Williams explores the GOP's reluctance to embrace blacks and black republican candidates. It's an insightful, historical and a completely engaging fact-filled documentary. And it doesn't matter if you are a Democrat or a Republican, this is an often painful, interesting and unflinching look at our two party system for better and for worst." Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member After watching this excellent film, I came away believing more firmly than ever that gerrymandering of voting districts has isolated the Black, Hispanic and other minority communities into political ghettos. Gerrymandering voting districts creates like minded people reinforcing their similar points of view and stifles legitimate and necessary debate. Without truly competitive debate and voting the money from opposition parties will never flow into non-competitive districts. There has to be a better way.
