Gore P This movie is seriously underrated. One of my favourites. The end is some of the scariest stuff I've watched. And the entire story , the fog that never moves. Just watch you will not regret. I recommend to any fan of horror/mystery. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/08/23 Full Review Darin P Gory and well filmed. I was very excited by this film and have watched it several times since. I told my friends about it too. It was a random find for me, what luck. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/06/22 Full Review Audience Member Total crap. Once again, Rotten Tomatoes critics show that they cannot be trusted to keep you from wasting your time. Avoid this like the plague! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/16/22 Full Review Audience Member A plot that is ludicrous even by grade B horror movie standards, stilted dialogue and undeveloped characters, topped off by a dash of career-woman-hate make this a flop. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review rusty s It looks bad enough that the film buffs will hate it, yet it's clever enough that the mainstream will be frustrated by it. This movie does a whole lot with very little. One of my favorites for sure. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/21 Full Review Audience Member Very formulaic rerun of familiar ideas all explored better in films like Hostel or Wicker Man. Acting pretty poor too and lots of very bad decision making on part if characters in the film. Shame. Avoid. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Naila Scargill Exquisite Terror Effectively creates tension to complement an overall creepiness, to deliver a climax that keeps the viewer in the dark. Feb 28, 2019 Full Review Anton Bitel Eye for Film The Shrine is horror just going through the motions - dull and perfunctory, with nowhere near enough polish to match its broken Polish. Mar 6, 2012 Full Review Scott Weinberg FEARnet Even with its familiar trappings and some occasional bumps in the road, The Shrine is an enjoyable little throwback. Rated: 3/5 Sep 5, 2011 Full Review Heather Wixson Dread Central The Shrine is an incredibly tense and entertaining cinematic experience that should keep horror fans guessing until the very end and further proves that Knautz is a filmmaking force to be reckoned with.
