Mike M Slight, rather misshapen doc... less than convincing for 50 of its 78 minutes: any narrative tension is limited to bureaucratic wrangles - someone's forgot to fill the right visa forms in - and too often we catch Lubbock letting the music do all the storytelling work for her; it's easy to play arias over shots of empty homes in the townships and elicit an emotional response. It picks up rather once the subjects have touched down in Heathrow, whereupon something of a cherishable culture clash emerges, as the Fezeka lot find themselves among rhubarb, recycling bins and the stout matrons of Bath - more of this would have been welcome. As it is, the kids' exuberance, and their vocal talent, comes across loud and clear, but genuine cultural insights are thin on the ground, and - at this length - it lacks the heft of Paul Taylor's similar "We Are Together" from a few years back.
