Trevor T Very well done. It is obvious that they used reenactors to do the battle scene instead of extras. That is always a good idea. Acting- fairly good. Commentary a bit off, especially when saying the war was fought over slavery, which it wasn't. But, still, worth a watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Good fx, and production values. The stunt work, as per usual, is quite lacking. Great score, as well! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member The special effects are cheap and poorly done, the acting is mediocre at best, and it is all around not a very good film. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member "Experience the greatest battle of the Civil War as never before. This groundbreaking film transports you to the Battle of Gettysburg with all its sound and fury. Based on the discovered diaries of soldiers from both sides, Fields of Freedom immerses you in the lives of two young men as they prepare for the bloody onslaught. You'll be alongside them for the unimaginably heroic charge. You will witness the ferocity of the battle and the anguish of its aftermath."
