Synopsis
John Embling (Lewis Fitz-Gerald), a teacher in an industrial suburb, works with children who, despite barely being adolescents, already dabble in drugs and crime. One such child, the unstable Tom (Paul Smith), catches his attention, and John takes him under his wing. Through various means, including taking Tom on a camping trip and interacting with his mother (Kris McQuade), John is able to break through to Tom in this dramatization of Embling's autobiographical book.
