Final Destination 3 is more of the same: gory and pointless, with nowhere new to go.

Josh A Once again, Final Destination has outdone itself. Not sure if the next one will outdo this one as this was amazing and the next one is the subject of absolute vitriol from the fanbase, but this was absolutely spectacular. Let's just get started. As this is a standalone sequel to Final Destination 2, it's not connected to the first two films and we don't need to talk about the connections. But the plot is still interesting: it's a rollercoaster this time and we see Wendy getting fully affected by losing people close to her in the accident. But this time, they fully get into looking for the signs and clues about how they'll die. It's an exploration of the concept in more detail, essentially. But the best part of the movie for me is the vibe. Especially at the theme park, it has the nostalgic vibe of a school trip at night where everyone's hanging out and having fun, as much fun as they can have at least. And the sombre vibe after the rollercoaster accident is a big departure from the vibes of this film's predecessors, but good as it shows what Wendy's feeling. Great film overall. Overall, a great standalone sequel to Final Destination 2. Gonna be a bit before the next one but I look forward to it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/25 Full Review Tommy D Final destination 3 is the best sequel ever is easily one of the franchise’s finest, with a killer setting—a collapsing rollercoaster that hits a universal fear—and some of the most iconic deaths in the series. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/14/25 Full Review Joshua P I love all of the Final Destination movies. It's all complete drivel but they're always so so fun. This one wasn't necessarily as good as the second one or the first one, I definitely think that the series could have ended with FD2.
