The absolute scenes of Wong’s opener set on a wonky rollercoaster [but] it's a little sluggish, otherwise, with Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Wendy doing my head in a bit. In a series that delights in silliness, she’s just too much.

Not the best rendition in the series, but it did have some memorable kills including an excellent double kill early in the film. The intro scene was fun, but honestly lackluster compared to other final destination intros. Loved the goth side characters, funny and well acted. Don’t love the high school back drop, and I found it more interesting when adults were dealing with the final destination situation.
