Destino Final 3 es el comienzo del declive de la franquicia, pero al mismo tiempo, pasa a ser una de las mejores. Refiriéndome a esta película como un declive, me voy por el hecho de que se desconecta totalmente de lo que las dos anteriores habían construido juntas, pero fue un mal necesario ya que eso le da cierta libertad a esta para jugar con otras reglas no establecidas anteriormente que son las mas interesantes que hay, buscar las pistas de la muerte en fotografías; sin dudas que es una muy buena jugada por parte de los escritores y agregando el hecho de que había personas desconocidas en la montaña rusa y resulto ser la hermana de la protagonista, brindando un gran giro de historia; por parte de lo que resta de la trama, pues es lo mismo de siempre, sin mencionar que la pelicula se fue volando. El reparto en esta película es el mejor de toda la franquicia, los personajes caen en estereotipos muy marcados de adolescentes estadounidenses, pero los personifican de una manera tan icónica que los hace resaltar por sobre todos los demás, lo único que me dejo a deber sobre esto fue, la falta de interacción entre mas personajes y por lo tanto, la falta de química, dicha que estuvo muy presente en Destino Final 2 que, ha pesar de ser todos desconocidos, llega un punto donde forman un muy buen grupo donde tenemos a 7 sobrevivientes conviviendo juntos y esto hace que simpatices más con los personajes. Por último, las muertes aquí son las más brutales de toda la franquicia, la escena de las camas de bronceado me sigue revolviendo el estómago, la pistola de clavos es cruel y traumante, la montaña rusa estuvo bien, pero, se nota lo limitados que estaban con el presupuesto, a pesar de eso, se aprecia que gran parte de las tomas hayan sido filmadas en una montaña rusa real y, desde mi perspectiva de haber montada bastante atracciones extremas, es muy efectiva la tensión que se genera cuando estas a punto de montar estos viajes y saber que no hay vuelta atrás. De hecho, esta fue la primera película que vi de Destino Final, específicamente en un Hotel en la playa de Los Ayala, Nayarit; tenia 7 años y me genero un terror a los fuegos artificiales, y cada vez que iba a esa playa, me daba una sensación nauseabunda muy extraña.

Muy buena película, la mejor de la saga a mi parecer. Esta película tiene uno de los mejores inicios de esta saga, con una secuencia en la que los protagonistas van a un parque de diversiones y mueren tras un fallo en la montaña rusa, y la secuencia esta muy bien hecha. Además, en esta entrega se presenta que las muertes estaban anticipadas en unas fotos que había hecho Wendy unos momentos antes de subirse a la montaña rusa, algo que es novedoso en la saga y que creo que le da un toque muy bueno. Las demás muertes son muy ingeniosas y están muy bien logradas a mi parecer, tiene algunas de las muertes mas icónicas de la franquicia. La historia se me hizo muy entretenida, como las anteriores dos, es una saga que a pesar de tener ya tres películas con la misma formula maso menos, sigue sin aburrirme. Por otro lado, las actuaciones están geniales en general, pero principalmente se destaca Mary Elizabeth Winstead, quien lo hace genial en el papel de Wendy y se nota con gran diferencia el nivel actoral de ella con los demás. En conclusión, una muy buena película, la mejor de la franquicia por su gran historia y variedad de muertes, teniendo algunas de las mas icónicas de la saga. La recomiendo.

2006 came around and 'Final Destination 3' hit cinemas with a clear aim of scaring people out of going on rollercoasters. SYNOPSIS: 'Wendy Christensen and a group of teens who escaped a fatal roller-coaster crash face a bloody date with Death.' There are some fun things which happen in this film with the initial death scene being cleverly crafted. But beyond that it's a hard slog. It does appear Death may not be as creative as they were previously with much of this film feeling predictable. But that tanning bed death will live with me for a long time. Unfortunately beyond that there's little suspense or horror to enjoy. A repetitive sequel. 5/10
