It's still only for the gore-thirsty faithful, but Final Destination 5 represents a surprising return to form for the franchise.

Caleb N The ending shocked me Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/20/24 Full Review Dan R The fifth and final 'Final Destination', for now anyway, dropped in 2011. SYNOPSIS: 'Death returns to claim the lucky survivors of a deadly bridge collapse in this fifth frightening installment in the series.' This franchise closer (for now) is full of wall to wall deaths, impaling, and eyes popping out! Is there anything more entertaining than irritating young adults dying in horrific ways? Probably not. The most intriguing part of this film is the big twist at the end of the film. It twigged on me literally seconds before the reveal, and I really enjoyed it. Well done to the director for this, it cheekily ties together the whole franchise. It's clever. One of the better films within the franchise however ropey some of the CGI is. Suspension bridges will never be looked at the same again. 6/10 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/12/24 Full Review Fleegle B A really great prequel movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review Gaming U Family fun! Take the kids! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/04/23 Full Review Snuggly Really dumb. Especially the fact that they didn't get off the plane after everything they'd been through. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/26/23 Full Review Dionte W This was such a good movie. It's so good Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Joshua Rothkopf Time Out Among this cast of unluckies, there is no future Jamie Lee Curtis. But you do take the film home with you -- to all your own toys -- and that's what decent horror is supposed to do. Rated: 3/5 Nov 7, 2019 Full Review Candice Frederick Reel Talk Online Final Destination 5 won't be known for any stellar performances, but first-time feature director Steven Qualye can rest assured he scared the daylights out his audiences. Rated: B+ Sep 8, 2017 Full Review Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com I don't have a lot to say about Final Destination 5 save that, for the first time ever, I actually enjoyed sitting in a theatre watching one of these efforts from beginning to end.
