Growing up in the middle of Navajo land the culture has always fascinated me. I believe. The cast and crew did an amazing job depicting trauma many face. Live in peace, live in beauty. Don't let others' troubled lives define your future. Thank you to all that made this beautiful film. It's a must-watch! See more Dallas G @lileagle77 Dec 5 This movie is a must watch. I never thought so much could be said in silence. Frankie J. delivers a wonderful 1st time performance. A message that this world needs right now! Also, you can't beat real Diné actors speaking Diné. See more Crystal S Nov 25 A well made film about choosing to have forgiveness, hope, and faith for the treatment of having peace. For most part the movie is in the Diné language and in English. It focuses on family and traditional Navajo culture as well. The Navajo people have a rich heritage. The film was shot in ten days with low budget. Yet, the actors, and message of film are heartfelt. This movie deserves to have recognition for highlighting the Navajo people in today’s modern world. Further more, you leave the movie theater feeling boosted by this extraordinary movie. A must watch ! See more Crystal K Nov 19 My bf and I enjoyed this movie very much. I'm Navajo so I understood the concept of Hozho. My non-Native bf appreciated the message from the director and main actor before the movie began, and their explanation of what Hozho is. I love how the movie portrayed the close relationships between a grandchild and grandparent because I see that a lot on the Navajo Rez. This movie showcases a Navajo family and the complicated relationship with an abusive parent, it's lasting impact and the power of forgiveness while accurately portraying the Navajo culture and language. I recommend it! See more Read all reviews
