In Germany, concerned citizens step forward to save an ancient forest from one of Europe's largest coal mines. They form an unlikely alliance with a frustrated community in rural England who are forced into action to protect their homes from a new opencast coal mine. Finite: The Climate of Change is an insider's view of the world of direct action; a raw, authentic and emotional insight into the David and Goliath battle between frontline communities, activists and fossil fuel corporations.

a s Excellent, we all need to see this. This is our reality and the only way to change it is to be aware of it and act. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/26/23 Full Review Andrew B A visceral, intense and completely gripping experience. Very powerful. You feel like you have lived, witnessed, gone through the action. Two parallel actions of climate action in Germany and the UK. Very real, with just the activists speaking and completely stunning visuals. This is absolutely real with police indifference, police brutality, and very stirring bravery from the activists. It took me on a remarkable journey. I wanted to shout out as trees were felled, a church demolished, activists assaulted. A must for anyone who cares about the future. The audience just stopped breathing for an hour and a half, spellbound and shocked.. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Josef D A very powerful and moving documentary that takes you to the front lines of direct action against the expansion of coal. A must see.
