Calvin O May 20 I watched it with a thought that it will be a cute romantic movie for chill night. But it ended up a very depressing drama. I also did feel that the movie was more about his dad struggling with fmding a job, rather than them being in love. It does involve going through struggles as a couple, it portraits a first love as tough and depressing instead of easy and joyful. It is not a positive way to showcase love. Which one hand is a reality, but it does not leave a positive feeling after watching it. It makes you not want to be in love rather than staying positive and searching for love. Don't watch if you're looking for something that will uplift you. See more Mikayla J Jan 9 The storyline had so much potential that was poorly executed. There was no chemistry between the main characters, and there was no build up of their relationship to establish a connection. Addressing the financial hardship from the parents could have added so much more to the movie if there was a focus on the family beyond this, the only time you see the parents/family is when they’re discussing financial difficulties.
