Sandra Hall Sydney Morning Herald The script’s contrivances grow even creakier as we approach the climax of the action. Nonetheless, Leonard and Moorcroft know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to the mechanics of escapism. Rated: 3/5 Feb 24, 2023 Full Review Tom Shone Times (UK) Even the first film was just a series of feelgood clichés, so there’s no great crime in serving up a new batch with the same cheery spirit. Some of the plot ideas, though, really are desperate. Rated: 2/5 Aug 22, 2022 Full Review Wendy Ide Guardian It all feels rather cursory, subplots as glue to tack together the Cornish tourist board-approved shots of cornflower-blue waters and cloudless skies. Rated: 1/5 Aug 20, 2022 Full Review Graeme Tuckett Stuff.co.nz Like a not-bad second album, there's plenty of filler here -- and a few minutes that could have been left out completely, but Fisherman's Friends 2: One And All probably has just enough decent moments to repeat some of the success of the first film. Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 24, 2023 Full Review Peter Gray The AU Review A boring, insultingly pedestrian film that isn’t even so bad it manages an entertaining personality of sorts, Fisherman’s Friends 2: One and All should be disbanded, unfollowed and put in the bargain bin. Rated: 1/5 Feb 23, 2023 Full Review Carey-Ann Pawsey Orca Sound A comedy drama that easily slots into the heartwarming category. What’s not to like, you ask? Well, very little is this critic’s response. Rated: 3/5 Dec 13, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Doug M Revisit with friends made in the first film. Perhaps not quite as much singing as I would have liked, but a real delve into the effects of personal loss and defame on friendships and on fame itself. Purefoy was lovely as always, and while not all of the cast returned from the first film, The themes of this one were poignant and well rendered. A simple film, with simple themes, it should leave you with a slightly wistful smile or perhaps a full-on grin. Thoroughly enjoyed this film, and will look forward to the third, which is in discussions currently. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/01/24 Full Review donnie m my review was for the FIRST fisherman's Friends movie (i didn't know there were 2 movies) the first is a great family movie but one star off for the actor who played the boss-bad actor in my opinion Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/22/23 Full Review sandra m Other than the pleasing coastal views of Cornwall I just could not wait for this film to be over so I could go to bed and leave my husband alone to "enjoy" it. I have never been so bored; the acting was mostly dire but the awful script didn't help anyone. Pointless. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/16/23 Full Review Judy T The movie won't win an Oscar, but that's in its favor. Great little British movie with an uplifiting story and gorgeous views of the St. Isaac's Bay and nearby sea. The Welsh brogue is a bit hard to understand from time to time, but still ok. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/10/23 Full Review Patricia T Good feel movie. Lots of heart. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/09/23 Full Review AJ R Not as good as first one but still decent. Worth a watch for sure, easy Sunday atternoon viewing. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
