Audience Member Five Moments of Infidelity? 90 minutes of shit! I applaud the effort - we need more original Australian film - but this was abysmal. The acting was terrible. The plot was a mess. Everyone cried when they were upset. People don't always cry when they're sad!!!! The direction was all over the place - mainly issues with camera angles and movement. I'm giving it a star and a half because I liked the idea and that people have different definitions of fidelity. Also, every now and then something interesting in the story would happen as well, which is why I kept watching. Every low-budget Australian film-maker should watch this and learn from its mistakes. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Not too great really. Acting is pretty bad and unconvincing. Especially the "American" girl. I've seen worse, and there was some interesting ideas in this, but it felt a lot longer than it's 91 minutes. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member im not a drama kind of guy but this one i survived. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Never mind the acting, the story has a strong punch. It's about how we have to decide whether we're going to do the "right" thing or the "wrong" thing in that split second prior to an infidelity act, and how easy it is to make the wrong decision, and how life would change forever due to the choice we made. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This film looks and feels like a soap opera. There is too much is going on, and none of it done well. The acting just isn't very good (its as though everyone is trying just a little too hard) and the dialogue is so poor sometimes I almost couldn't stand it. Its a low budget film, but it doesn't embrace that, instead it tries to be so much that it can't pull off. There is nothing visually exciting about it, and though there are one or two storylines with serious potential, its all done too quickly without offering enough character. Its like the Terror Toons of dramatic film making (If you don't know what I'm talking about don't bother finding out). Plainly put, and I say this with only slight hesitation, this is one of the worst films I've seen in years. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Saw this at the 2007 Australian Film Festival in London. It's a really great film - very funny. Wish it would get the commercial release it deserves. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
