Audience Member A movie that depicts Australia in the late 1970s, complete with flared jeans, large Marlboro advertisements, and Dad pouring beers for his son. A very un-PC movie with an all-white cast that focuses on a couple of pre-bogan mates from Sydney's west who love driving around in an old Holden. Not outstanding, but fascinating for the Australian character that it depicts. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Bankstown, NSW, Australia in the 1970s. Fast cars, Westies, a docu-dramatic look at the area in which I grew up. Brilliant photography and a snapshot of living on the edge of a big city. Highly recommended.
