Audience Member 1994: A cop, who is not liked due to turning on a corrupt partner, is involved in a case of a serial arsonist. Later, his new partner is murdered. A hooker, who is a suspect in the murder, contacts the cop (after he is moved to a desk job role), and gives details that two men committed the murder. Then there is a series of investigation, more details, and, eventually, crosses and double crosses. OK film that plays like a B-type movie. Very solid cast. Not sure about the ending, but OK. Look for an early appearance by Carrie-Anne Moss. Stars: Billy Zane, Louis Gossett Jr., Kristin Minter, Louis Giambalvo, and Tom Mason. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member (* 1/2): This is pretty bad with way too many unintentional laughs and wooden acting galore. Note: I saw this under the title of August Fires if that makes a difference. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
