03/01/2015 Holy crap what an amazing lady. I am positive I could not be as forgiving as this woman after what she had experienced. See more 04/23/2013 Eva Kor's story is not only compelling but we can all learn so much from her stand of forgiveness. I cried throughout most of the documentary because I was so touched by Kor. However, the documentary itself was dry and blah. The directors really missed the mark on a story that could have been represented so much more. With that being said, I gave it three stars, however, I believe everyone should watch this film for the powerful message of Eva Mozes Kor. Not only does she inspire you to forgive but you see her cohorts that share the same past. They are so angry about the past that they can never be free and their resentment towards Kor's public forgiveness is enormous. The film meanders through the complexities of the nature of forgiveness all the while documenting the interrogating and scrutinizing efforts against Eva Kor's intention to forgive the seeming unforgivable. If nothing else, her story serves as a real-life Sunday School lesson that allows us to look inward and make appropriate changes. It's on Netflix Instant Queue. Amazing stuff.
