In this dazzling action cyber-thriller, Bruce Willis (Pulp Fiction) plays Robert, a retired CIA agent living at a secret resort in the woods. One day, his estranged son drives to the camp for a visit -- but he's followed by Robert's old nemesis, Balzary (Chad Michael Murray, "One Tree Hill"). As the site is besieged by Balzary's attack squad, father and son retreat to a high-tech bunker. But are its steel walls and advanced weapons powerful enough to match Balzary's bloodthirsty plans for revenge?

Amy Nicholson New York Times At onetime, Bruce Willis's presence boosted a small movie; lately, he's a liability. "It's an emergency alert," Willis's ex-C.I.A. agent yawns to his estranged son as though sirens mean the postman is at the door. Rated: 9.5/10 Jan 27, 2022 Full Review Tara McNamara Common Sense Media For an action film about U.S. muscle, Fortress sure is weak -- but it does have some unexpected entertainment value. Grymdrache Probably the worst acting and direction I've seen Bruce Willis work under. The overall story is pretty interesting, but the performances and the writing is worse the the Star Wars sequels. If you're a die hard (lol) Bruce Willis fan, add this one to your collection, but it's not worth watching. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/16/24 Full Review CuriousK The movie could have been called "Bomb Shelter". The combat readiness and coordination among security personnel is almost non existent. Why is the "Fortress" so far from where they live, requiring a long journey through a jungle to get to it??? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review John B One of the most tedious wastes of my time i have watched. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/06/23 Full Review Daniel M This is absolute garbage. How this stuff gets made is beyond comprehension. Cheap, nasty, predictable, Willis at the bottom of the dung heap with this one. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/07/23 Full Review Matthew D It's a shame that Bruce Willis fell to doing all these terrible direct to DVD quality movies. You can tell he's never really present on the same set as anyone because of all the cutaways. The plot is incomprehensible and the action is very dull for what little there is of it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review Steve D Good cast and not much else. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
