Kurt Jacobsen Chicago Reader The film pulls provocative insights and ironies out of each adventure as artfully as an accomplished pickpocket works a crowd... May 12, 2022 Full Review Kristen Yoonsoo Kim The Nation Four Adventures is considered neither part of the female friendship canon nor a major Rohmer, but it should be included in both. Sep 22, 2020 Full Review Jaime N. Christley Slant Magazine Four Adventures uses a country-mouse-and-city-mouse template to explore the morality, aesthetic sense, urban and rural savvy, and a host of other concerns. Sameir A Do you like experimental films? Do you like films that are amusing and curious to watch, but, not very particular to have a well made star to end story? Then, this film is for you. It's a story about two girls in 4 sections. Interesting movie, and I liked it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/04/21 Full Review Serge L I had seen this film years ago and now again. Nice contrast between the girls. Ordinary adventures somewhat funny, somewhat thoughtful. This time I watched it at 2,5 times the normal speed and it was okay. The whole thing didn't drag. This must be a child film. I would think Rainette is lesbian and the other curious, but nothing is shown in this department.
