Jay Carmody Washington Star There is not much incident in Four Faces West, not enough to keep it entirely from representing another six-reel horseback ride, but everybody is so agreeable and charming that one can't help liking them all. Audience Member Wow, this one is really good and I highly recommend it James Welch, Henderson, Arkansas, February 6, 2023 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member An enjoyable western that we have seen many times before, but it is lifted that notch as to not be a 'supporting feature'. FUN MOVIE. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Great story and solid western. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review dave j Tuesday, October 5, 2010 (1948) Four Faces West WESTERN Ross played by Joel McCrea tries to secure a loan from a bank and when they wouldn't give him that opportunity, he demands the loan by threatening to use his gun resulting to a manhunt for his capture. It sometimes look like a sort of a cat-and-mouse game and the story was very involving, up until the pretentious Hollywood ending! Haven't seen many films that deal with this nature that involve Westerns and "bank loans"! 3 out of 4 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was great. Great story.
