Diana Drumm indieWire Without going into too much more detail, suffice it to say that the film was a disappointment to a horror geek who stumbled in for what looked like it could have been a nice, bloody midnight treat. Rated: D Dec 10, 2018 Full Review John DeFore The Hollywood Reporter If the film had played up this type of satire-friendly theme and offered a little humor to balance its initial wartime realism, Frankenstein's Army might have been sufficiently re-watchable to attract a small cult following. Dec 10, 2018 Full Review Matt Zoller Seitz RogerEbert.com It's a bravura if deeply silly demonstration of what clever moviemakers can do on meager resources. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 1, 2013 Full Review Jason Adams My New Plaid Pants Basically a Steampunk Power Rangers set in World War II, and who am I to deny the world that? Jan 14, 2022 Full Review Ard Vijn ScreenAnarchy It takes a bit of a wait to get there, but at the end the icky gore goes through the roof, the monsters rock and the jokes connect. Rated: 4/5 Sep 17, 2019 Full Review Chris Tilly IGN Movies There are some nice ideas at work in Frankenstein's Army and the monsters look great, but the 'found footage' conceit brings little to proceedings and for a horror movie there just aren't enough scares. Jefferson N A historia tem potencial, porem o filme é fraco de tudo . Eu nao assistiria d novo. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/19/24 Full Review Timmy M Frankenstein's Army- Set in world war 2 a group of Russian troops are ambushed by a group of monsters or weird experiments. This film is one of the worst I've seen. Part of it is shot from the camera that the one soldier caried. The only thing good about this film is the blood gore scenes and the monsters. I would have liked to have seen them give backstory on the mad doctor also his assistant and some of the men now creatures. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/01/23 Full Review Frank S This kind of movie is just what I like. The backdrop, the buildup, the creatures, the mad scientist, the creatures, the gore, the creatures! It uses the handheld camera approach but I don't think it takes anything away from it. It's simply way too fun to not like. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/19/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a pretty solid movie. The special effects are awesome. The premise is very creative and original. If you're a fan of found footage or any fucking horror genre in existence I recommend you give it a watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A total garbage from start to finish. Not even bad enough to be entertaining. Makeup and costumes are the only decent(albeit pretty generic) thing, but you won't see them because of how terribly it is shot. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Just awesome! This movie did a better job than Overlord of telling a similar story with far less of a budget!
