Without going into too much more detail, suffice it to say that the film was a disappointment to a horror geek who stumbled in for what looked like it could have been a nice, bloody midnight treat.

Frankenstein's Army- Set in world war 2 a group of Russian troops are ambushed by a group of monsters or weird experiments. This film is one of the worst I've seen. Part of it is shot from the camera that the one soldier caried. The only thing good about this film is the blood gore scenes and the monsters. I would have liked to have seen them give backstory on the mad doctor also his assistant and some of the men now creatures.

It's a pretty solid movie. The special effects are awesome. The premise is very creative and original. If you're a fan of found footage or any fucking horror genre in existence I recommend you give it a watch.

A total garbage from start to finish. Not even bad enough to be entertaining. Makeup and costumes are the only decent(albeit pretty generic) thing, but you won't see them because of how terribly it is shot.

If you like monsters and makeup you'll love this movie. I like that the monster/creature effects were not digital but were done by some real talented makeup artist. The plot is simple enough and it unfolds in a horrible "god what were they doing here" kind of way. The movie setting really fits the subject. The unfolding tension leaves me wondering what awful combination of person/monster is around the next corner. Great creature imagination. Well done!
