Hollywood story, brought (not) to life by German craftmanship (that is not a compliment in the world of movies). Lazy writing, poor dialogue, mostly horrible acting, dull camerawork, painful lack of a single atom of creativity in any aspect. It somehow wants to speak about mental illness through a kind of twisted superhero movie but remains weak, superficial and derivative on both fronts. Watchable but really not worth your time. It's deffo a kind of superhero movie that was more realistic although I would say it would have been even better to build the depth more for some other characters. Unfortunately, the feeling is followed by the crushing conclusion that it's many predecessors were highly better executed. With avarege performances, at the beginning of those 90 minutes, you keep wishing for the movie to start; but, by the end, you ask yourself if it really managed to do so at any point...
