jacob b The animation's alright, there are two decent songs and the Big Bad voiced by BRIAN BLESSED is one of the most enjoyable parts of the film but my God, was Freddie as F.R.O.7 a hilariously nonsensical mess. Seriously, were it not for my TV Tropes browsing, I'd've dismissed it as just another cheap Disney knockoff but after learning of the sheer insanity, I just had to see it for myself. Boy, that was something! Not that the story was anything special. It's a parody of James Bond that doesn't go very far in spoofing it and generally plays the spy stuff straight. It's only the utter lunacy that makes it stand out. This animated flop is far from good but it's definitely a worthy entry in the "so bad, it's good" lineup. Shame the sequel never happened, I'd love to have known what aspects of their overactive imaginations the writers and animators would've put in that film. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Clunky yet fun, Freddy As FRO7 is a movie with some average humor, constantly changing hand drawn animation quality, and bland characters with familiar voice actors giving solid performances. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the most confusing messes of an animated feature I've ever seen Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I am dead freaking serious when I say this film is probably one of the worst films I have ever seen in my entire life. The thought I even sat through this...thing...makes me shudder. The plot is an entire mess, the characters are as bland as the paper they were drawn on, and the songs....oh the songs...Make them stop... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member ... Um... This is... I think it's... WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST WATCH?! It feels more like a drug-induced fantasy dream than the next beloved animated romp. Seriously, the movie stars a prince of the Middle Ages who gets turned into a frog and apparently also a Highlander, since he now exists in 20th century England, as a "secret" agent. (Not so secret if your face is in the papers, genius.) I will say this, Brian Blessed is enjoyably over the top, so one star for you. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member The animation and story is just cool. While some scenes I questioned like the pointless crows and the kkk members in the back round of the song evilmaniya in the uncut version. All three songs are enjoyable as well. Some characters are interesting and neat while some make no sense what so ever. In a way It's a great movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
