Johanna This is an excellent portrayal of what life was like in the 1980's - early 1990's, along w/ such moving interviews of both people who knew Freddie Mercury, but also those who experienced the early days of HIV & AIDS firsthand. The way these various video clips are interspersed with the clips of Freddie is done so well & is so beautiful. I am also extremely impressed by Brian May & Roger Taylor, Queen's lead guitarist & drummer, respectively. Their love & support of their friend & lead singer is strongly displayed throughout the video clips, combined with their outspoken, intelligent & compassionate statements re: HIV, homophobia, etc. The tribute concert for Freddie was very well-done & full of such great, diverse musicians & entertainers. I've already watched this several times & hope to buy it as soon as it is available. It is a must see.
