Audience Member Don’t let these old review fool you. This movie is riveting, devastatingly raw, and anchored by some truly next level performances. But be warned, it is dark stuff. I was surprised on the web that it's based on a rapist/killer. Feel free to watch the movie, I never saw the rape & the guy who plays him should've won an award for perfect-portrayal. This is a good movie to watch so you can learn the warning signs of this nutmeg-character. Today is; Feb.20th. 2021 but I still feel the same as when I first saw it. The actor said he had to do something funny after because this part he played could affect one's mind. Yep, it goes deep into darkness but at least shows you what to watch out for. It works infrequently too, thanks to a menacing and at times quite unsettling performance by Scott Anthony Leet as Bonin. Since the real horrors of Bonin's reign of terror are much abbreviated here, the film may or may not suffer in some people's opinions.
