Actor falls in love with girl next door. Can this be? Yes, no, yes, no, ....the movie is a nice journey between this yes & no. And, as it is a French movie (you know American movies always have happy ending) the question remains until the end: is there a happy end?

Familiar with Omar Sy as Assane Diop from the Netflix multi-season series Lupin, I honestly expected more spark, but as Abel the movie star, he comes across as a whiny, egotistical, and overrated individual who tries to woo and seduce Sara Giraudeau, as Marion, a waitress navigating a divorce. The entire rom-com feels like a two-hour waste of time, as predictable and underwhelming as a Sunday sermon. Giraudeau seems to be the only one grounded, and perhaps the main reason to watch it. The formulaic, uninspired performance from Omar simply fails to impress.
