Familiar with Omar Sy as Assane Diop from the Netflix multi-season series Lupin, I honestly expected more spark, but as Abel the movie star, he comes across as a whiny, egotistical, and overrated individual who tries to woo and seduce Sara Giraudeau, as Marion, a waitress navigating a divorce. The entire rom-com feels like a two-hour waste of time, as predictable and underwhelming as a Sunday sermon. Giraudeau seems to be the only one grounded, and perhaps the main reason to watch it. The formulaic, uninspired performance from Omar simply fails to impress.

Tepid story, completely predictable, but worse was the casting. Completely wrong. No chemistry between the two leads, they couldn't even kiss convinsingly at the end. Hopelessly mismatched.

Omar Sy is my favorite French actor...I loved Him in INTOUCHABLES with François Cluzet. This movie is a wonderful escape, I didn't expect it to be like a great book... I just expected it to be fun. It is funny and the casting is great! I don't understand the negative reviews. Maybe people don't like this kind of movie or they were watching it in English...It may come off differently dubbed in English.

Absolutely loved it !! The romance genre is hardly my type. I sat down to se it because of Omar Sy but was totally swept away by the light comedy and the phenomenal acting of Sara Girardeau. The chemistry between Omar Sy and Sara was scintillating. The movie connects with you as an audience in a fun, human way. Nice!
