I gave this a spin via Netfux Streaming, and I was impressed. You get a nice overview of hip-hop fashion and how the earliest designers started out using pieces of other designers clothing to deconstruct and rebuild to make their own pieces, then went mainstream with a certain urban lifestyle look. Worth a rental.

Fantastic first half covering the origins of Hip Hop in the 5 boroughs, and it's style. How a desolate South Bronx gave birth to scratching, rap, breaking, graffiti and the distinctive fashion. Loses its way in the second half. Instead of covering gold chains, and African - influence it goes all economic Zoolander.
