Chester An extremely gory, violent, dark, unusual movie. It is never boring. However, as a comedy, it is not really very funny at all. I do not know if the actor who plays the father is a big star in New Zealand, but he is excellent- the rest of the cast, not so much. It is odd that the daughter looks about ten years older by the middle of the film compared to the start...Two different actresses? I am sure this movie has been examined by many people much smarter than me on a sociological level, with the story involving a well heeled Maori family reverting back to a primitive practice like cannibalism. But if you don't mind all that, and like a rip-snorting plot, plenty of humour, a little suspense, and lots of intertextual winks to cultural foibles, some (perhaps unintentional) observations on the ideology of carnism, as well as some great acting and direction, then watch Fresh Meat. Temuera Morrison & Nicola Kawana are married. Their daughter Hanna Tevita likes girls. Leand Macadaan is sentence to 12 years jail for kidnap, murder. Kate Elliott and 2 guys (Ralph Hilaga & Jack Sergent-Shadbolt) kill the guards and rescue Leand. They escape to the suburb area. Hanna found a hand in the fridge and her parents says they develop a new eating habit while she's away in boarding school. The thugs crash into their garage and hold them hostage. Their son Kahn West appears and also capture as hostage. Each of the baddies guard one family member. Temuera tell Ralph they have the same bloodline origin from Taiwan. Leand want Hanna to blowjob him. Jack is so engross to Nicola for her cookbooks. Kate read the porno magazine of Kahn. Each family member is about to fight back. Hanna dance traditional for Leand to see and he beat him with the props, eventually overpowered. She bite his dick and Kate come over to stop his screaming. Jack discover the hand and Nicola try to cut his hand. Raplh ask Temuera to take his cocaine and he try to smash him behind his back. When Hanna tell Kahn about the cannibal, he says Temuera read about their family origins and decide to go back to the roots. The meat they send to her is also human. She vomited and Kate bring her to clean up. Hanna want to shower and suggestively want Kate to help in some lesbian act. Ralph want to eat something and go to the pantry. He discover a hidden basement door under the carpet. He got killed by a trap. The cops are going house to house. A cop come in the house and smell the drug Ralph used. He saw the secret door and sees blood. Kate want to shoot him but have no bullet. The cop spray her pepper spray and fight. Hanna throw milk onto Kate face and say it cure the spray effect. Jack shoot the cop dead. Leand want to kill Hanna and Kate blow his head off. Jack want to drive away and escape. He open the boot and a man is tied inside. He beat him out. Kate climb in to fight. Hanna point the shotgun at him to stop. Kate make Jack go to the boot and she knock out Hanna. The other family has untied themselves and knock out Kate and kill Jack. The hidden basement is where they store their meat. An old neighbour boy Will Robertson who likes Hanna come over to visit while they have dinner. Temuera want him to eat the meatballs. He sees an ear in the plate. They capture him and want her to slaughter him or Kate. He talk too much and Temuera strike one into his throat. Cops are swarming in. Kahn tie Hanna up. Temuera pretend to be the thug and negotiate with the cops. Hanna ask Kate swing to each other and bite off the strings. Kate want to kill Temuera because he is the disillusion one. Temuera and Nicola quarrel. Kahn apologize for failing his father. Temuera stab him in the name of sacrificial and eat his heart. He want to drink the virgin blood of Hanna, that's why send her to all girls boarding school. Nicola quickly interrupt by saying she always have sex with her assistant. They all fight and Temuera cut Hanna and drink her blood. Now he claim to be immortal. The cops attacks in. He killed a cop and then Nicola. Hanna open the gas and with the gun she took from the dead cop, she shoots. Kate dressing up as the SWAT cop save her from the explosion. The house blow up. Kate and Hanna kiss.
