Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times 05/01/2014
An overly broad and silly package whose one-joke, sitcom-like premise strains to fill feature length. Go to Full Review

Movies have struggled to make social media cinematic, but judging from "Friended to Death," the revolution can wait. Go to Full Review

The story's message may not be the most original one in the world - put down your device and make eye contact - but it's fun to watch it unfold in a world that, while far from realistic, feels real enough. Go to Full Review

...a sly, yet extremely energetic wink at the dark side of our increasingly intrusive social media state of dependency... Go to Full Review

See more 02/24/2017 Zack saves this movie! LOL. Fun See more 11/08/2014 This movie was awful! See more 05/25/2014 Friended To Death is a witty film with fun, over the top characters whose antics are both hysterical and heartbreaking .The film illustrates just how far a social media addict might go to find out who his real friends are. After getting fired and losing his best friend, Michael Harris, a detestable parking enforcement officer played by Ryan Hansen, decides to find out if anyone would care if he died. So, being the social media addict he is, Michael fakes his own death on Facebook to his see who will care enough to come to his funeral. As Michael's hoax spirals out of control, he begins to realize that connections made online can never compare to the true relationships found in real life. In this funny, zany film, while we laugh at the wild antics, we'll see a little bit of ourselves. The actors did an amazing job of bringing life to this "sign of our times" story. Congratulations to the filmmakers for giving voice to the profound role social media plays in our lives! I highly recommend this totally enjoyable film!
