Fright Night 2 - New Blood is not a sequel but another remake. It's a good movie but not as good as the first remake. Check it out.

Esta cuarta entrega de Fright Night es sin duda la mejor junto al film original. A pesar de mostrar una versión más actualizada del film conocido basándose en la secuela de 1988, es una película refrescante que renueva muy bien la saga. En esta ocasión usa la imagen de la figura histórica Elizabeth Bathory la cual sin duda merecía una película de este tipo. Tiene desde humor negro como siempre en toda la saga, hasta mucho gore y buenos efectos especiales y maquillaje especial. La única falla que esta película tiene es ser una especie de recreación de su predecesora en lugar de ser una secuela directa. Aun así, esta recreación de Fright Night 2 es una digna sucesora del clásico ochentero. Mi calificación final para esta película es un 9/10.

Was just so god awful that I wasn't willing to finish it. Got to the half way point and said that was enough. Terrible performances minus Dracula. Bad effects and even worse script and direction. Really nothing compared to the first.

The plot, characters are the copy of Fright Night 1... Sexy female protagonist... Stupid look male protagonist... Stupid friend... attractive vampire... Same ending... And same plot... Just change name of characters... Location... 😑😑😑

Fright Night 2: New Blood is a remake unfairly masking itself as some sort of sequel, slowly revealing itself to simply be an inferior, unnecessary production compared to 2011's surprisingly satisfying effort.
