Critics Consensus

From Afar is narratively elliptical to a fault, but for patient viewers willing to allow the story to unfold at its own unhurried pace, the end result is its own absorbing reward.

Brett A Nov 23 The movie challenges from the start with deliberate focus issues and continues through its finale. My husband and I both had issues believing the transformation the street kid experiences. Still generally found the movie worthwhile. See more gabriel m 01/07/2023 Very well directed and acted. Superb cinematography by Sergio Armstrong See more 06/16/2020 At first you might be a little confused, but watching it again I really liked this film. The performances were great, which definitely heightened the movie. See more 07/16/2017 Freaky la peli, un comportamiento maniatico See more 01/28/2017 A slow burn to an unusual climax. See more Read all reviews
