Par H @Parhwy 2d From Iceland to Eden (2020) 89-minute-long drama from Iceland I saw on Prime in March 2026. This is a tick-a-box drug addict/drug dealer film focussing on Olivia (Loa) and Oliver. The film begins with an unlikely yet concise summation of the characters and their story. Their story relies on a lot of conveniences afforded them by two of Loa’s friends; they’re kind of like an ATM for plot: clothes, drugs, money, housing, car, connections; business partners. On the flip, consequences which should happen to Loa and Oli… don’t. Interspersed with the action are scenes of two babies, nude, in black room. It’s symbolic of Loa and Oli’s predetermined, eternal love. O… K. This film has far too many montages (5?). The ending of this film annoyed me, these two were not likeable nor deserving. Rewatch?
