James Reese (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) has a good job as an ambassador's aid in France, but his real passion is a side gig, working in a minor role in the CIA. He would love to be a full-fledged agent and can't believe his luck when he lands an assignment with Charlie Wax (John Travolta). Trigger-happy Charlie soon has James crying for his desk job, but when he learns that the same guys they're trying to catch are after him, James realizes that Charlie may be his only hope of survival.

The most underdeveloped character... remains Paris. Why set a movie in the City of Lights if you aren’t going to exploit it for everything it’s worth? The movie could’ve been called “From Cleveland with Love” and no one would’ve known the difference.

Plot is just "look Islam terriosm" +Paris + Travolta same rebranded post 9-11 films that glorify the US and CIA. Please stop John travolta He can't act. Whoever lied to him and told him he could act should be put in prison He is so bad and his plastic surgery isn't helping with his facial expressions. And dont get me started on the horrible graphics. I felt like I was watching a Bollywood film edited on capcut. I would never recommend this absolute steaming pile of shit. Literally why does this movie exist. There is no plot no acting no graphics no budget.

Was it a good movie? No. But do I still love it? Absolutely. I love John Travolta'a character. He's funny, he's serious, he's highly entertaining. Jonathan Rhys Meyers annoyed me and was terrible in this movie. I don't know if he's any good in anything else, but I wouldn't waste my time watching him in anything. Travolta saved this movie for me, and is the only reason I watch it over and over.
