Castellari is a very accomplished action director. There are several hundred people killed in Escape from the Bronx, but it's never boring, as there's a lot of variety in the way people die and the camerawork is excellent for such low-budget film. 12/16/2021 Escape from the Bronx aka Escape 2000 is a fun sequel to 1990 The Bronx Warriors but actors are so wooded including the writing was so weak and terrible on the film but least was a solid sequel.
