Castellari is a very accomplished action director. There are several hundred people killed in Escape from the Bronx, but it's never boring, as there's a lot of variety in the way people die and the camerawork is excellent for such low-budget film.

Escape from the Bronx aka Escape 2000 is a fun sequel to 1990 The Bronx Warriors but actors are so wooded including the writing was so weak and terrible on the film but least was a solid sequel.

Bad acting badly shot bad sound quality the villains plans are to easily afford into easily found out everything about this just reeks of cheapness this movie makes escape from LA look like Hamlet.

A sequel that far surpasses its predecessor. Takes the original template and goes its own way. Fun B-Movie violence in a future dystopia. The lead actor improved a lot over the course of a year.

A cross between "Escape In New York" and "The Warriors" with Italian financing depicting the Bronx as a slums area with the mayors and representatives attempting to kill it's citizens off as opposed to re-locating.
