Theoretically, a sequel offers up the opportunity to fix the flaws of part one and strengthen the story. In reality, this is unlikely to happen when your source material was unworthy of a follow up.

The film also tries way too hard to find humour in contemporary issues, too many at that-vegetarianism, caste, live-in relationships, beef ban, organ harvesting, animal trading. But the jokes, in an effort to seem smart, actually turn out lame.

The consequence of that neglect is that Fukrey Returns is funny but its gnawing hollowness is impossible to ignore. It may as well have been a stand-up comedy show headlined by Varun Sharma instead of a film.

The oddball tone of these excesses wouldn't feel as tedious around a witty context or coherent script. Except the gags, contrived around comically hostile interactions and burdened by a steady supply of predictable rejoinders, fall completely flat.

In an attempt to repeat, or rather improvise on, the previous one's success formula, the movie turns extraordinarily juvenile.The first movie had the slapstick quotient at the optimum level - stupid but still laugh-worthy. For any example of how minor changes could lead to completely different results, just compare the two Fukreys.

trash, wasted my money accidently as i see the show was early to start although guys dont waste your time and money for this bullshit movie and one more thing indian movies always show 200 and 300 crores lottery and theft although many indians are living below poverty lines,although trash movie.
