An entertaining, often very funny, but ultimately revealing and unsettling film about a US Army camp in the Mojave Desert where Iraq War conditions are simulated for training purposes. Go to Full Review

05/13/2011 Fascinating and revolting but suffers a little from the same divided loyalties as its subjects. See more 11/18/2010 supposedly funny but i didn't laugh See more 02/28/2010 I had no idea such a thing existed so this... documentary? was pretty interesting. See more 11/30/2009 A rather wild look at the training camp set up in the Mojave desert to mimic the conditions of Iraq for the purposes of training soldiers for deployment. The film follows both the military men as well as the character actors within the 'village' who are given scripted prompts and elaborate back stories to work with to develop their characters and how they feel about the occupying U.S. forces. At turns disturbing, funny and downright depressing, this film is well worth a look. Recommended. See more 11/22/2009 An interesting look at the thought processes of both sides of the equation. See more 10/07/2009 An extremely engaging documentary. See more Read all reviews
