Audience Member Mimi Rogers is the subject of this movie and camera swirls and swipes around her in majestic ways. Bryan Brown plays a masseur who is called on by Rogers for her weekly therapeutic sessions. There is a ton of nudity but If you go in with the idea that this is softcore pornography movie you'd be disappointed. Yes, there is nudity but the conversations between the two leads are engaging and interesting. This is one of the great examples why Nicholas Roeg is such an auteur- he can make the most inane subjects and create something special with it. This is an artsy film so go in with that mindset.(An artsy made for TV movie from Nicholas Roeg). Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Nicholas Roeg is an auteur and Full Body Message is his television movie made with the gorgeously voluminous Mimi Rogers. No doubt this is what everyone will speak of- and indeed much discussion on the film solely rests on Miss Rogers assets. The story is simple: An art gallery owner gets her weekly massage from a man she is attracted to. One day he does not show up and instead there is a somewhat older man at her disposal. She agrees and we hear their banter on life and everything. This is an erotic film but the way it is shot and filmed will have you not aroused but engrossed. Mimi Rogers and Bryan Brown are too good an actors to screw this up and the cinematography is really good. A strange but rather good TV movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Mimi Rogers is a buxom lady, beautiful like a statuette and Nicholas Roeg's aptly titled Full Body Massage takes full advantage of this fact.
