An intelligent, wellconstructed emotional thriller with added gunplay, it delivers a pleasurable blend of mischief and mayhem. Go to Full Review

Full of visual and verbal references to action and noir favorites, but burdened by a knotty story line and existential dialogue about fateful coincidences, it has trouble locating its own emotional core. Go to Full Review

So what is the point? Lovingly choreographed bloodshed taking place in a pristine movie neverland, basically. Go to Full Review

A correct movie, unbalanced at times, and presenting some lazy rhythm, but that delivers very good moments of action. [Full Review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

11/09/2016 O is a reclusive assassin of Japanese descent working in Hong Kong. He is ruthless and efficient and largely considered the top assassin in Hong Kong. He is also in love with the young woman he hired to clean his apartment, but they are both so quiet and introverted that they have never discussed their feelings. Along comes Andy Lau, a flamboyant assassin trying to take down O and unseat his position as top assassin. He romances the young lady to get to O. Also in the mix ... cop Simon Yam pursuing both of them. An eccentric, action filled flick co-directed by Johnnie To and Wai Ka Fai. Not as great as some of their other films, but a solid bit of entertainment. See more 10/20/2015 Alkaa tää aasialainen toiminta pikkuhiljaa tökkimään. Varsinkin kun se on yliampuvan kikkailevaa.
