What a fantastic cast and a fantastic story! This, without a doubt, will go on my hidden gems list. In fact, I couldn't understand the extremely low score at all. Heart-warming, emotional, comedic and filled with a great ensemble, even with just brief cameos from Ramirez and Paquin, Furlough deserves more recognition!!!

Furlough is a how to in doing a simple movie. Light-hearted with moments of poignance. The caliber of talent in Furlough brings ease and believability to their characters, without diminishing their abilities. They act in context to the movie without overstepping their mark in order to stand out unnecessarily. With no pretension other than to entertain, Furlough should be taken for what it is; Entertainment.
