Audience Member David Carradine? How'd they rope him into this film? Riff rating: 🥊🥊🥊.5 Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member With a mailed in performance by David Carradine, a terrible 80 generic soundtrack, horrible filming... This is sci-fi trash we all can love. In the year... I really didn't catch and looking straight out of 1984 C.O.P.S. are the law. Civilian operated police services are bounty hunters that get their jollies mostly murdering criminals. Out of these tough badboys is the meanest and best bounty hunter John Tucker! He's the only one to really get attached to cause pretty much everyone else is gonna die other then the stripers. John has a state of the art 1980s jeep Wrangler, a magnum, and a strap on bionic arm that shoots energy helps him fly and other corny shit. He uses these items to kill all the bad guys and get all the chicks. When trying to catch a criminal who committed treason John stumbles on a plot that makes him realize C.O.P.S. may not be the good guys after all! Will he stop the corruption? Can he save the "future"? You know the answers but this is trash movie gold if that's what you are into. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is hilarious! A must see for fans of cheesy action movies! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member An out of shape David Carradine battles scumbags as a member of C.O.P.S. When John Tucker (Carradine) refuses to kill a reporter, his boss slaps a bounty on his head. The highlight to 'Future Cop' is Tucker's power glove; now you're playing with power, bitch! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This was pretty damn silly but in a cheesy entertaining late 80s David Carradine sorta way...which isn't the worst thing ever. I kinda think if ole Dave pumped more iron and didn't have the skinniest girl arms while wearing a sleeveless vest, he would have pulled the bad ass future cop role off alittle better. The plot wasn't too bad and the bad guys were smug and douchey (the way bad should be), but this was just missing something to put it at 4 or 5 stars. It might be that some of the action scenes were down right laughable but in that good bad movie sort of way. One for instance involves a robot glove that attacks people at the press of a button. Now put this in the late 80s time frame and think how great special effects were for low budget movies.... and yeah its pretty bad. Give it at least one watch for some cheap late 80s sci fi action thrills, you could do a whole lot worst....something like cyborg 2 is worse than this for instance. Cyborg 2 also happens to be one of Angelina Jolie's first movie roles and she's godawful in it. You never can go wrong with alittle cheesy I need to cash a pay check Dave Carradine to brighten up your lazy boring sunday afternoon. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Excessive crime forced private enterprise to take over the police in the form of bounty hunters. Those wanted are presumed guilty until proven innocent. Not bad but hampered by a trim budget and I'm not sure about the remote control super glove.
